Bobby Maze, the 6-3 combo guard from Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College who visited UC over the weekend, is expected to make his decision in about a week. Maze is also scheduled to visit Tennessee and Kentucky….Forward Mike Williams, who missed all of last season after rupturing his Achilles tendon during the pre-season, participated in open gym Saturday and reported no problems. It was the first time Williams was cleared to play full-court.
Maze would be an excellent get at this point. He's a skilled guard with collegiate experience that would immediately boost the backcourt. It would also allow Cashmere Wright to be groomed for the point rather than to be thrust into prime time as a Frosh.
ReplyDeleteI guess we'll see what happens in a week from now. He comes and this class is heads and heels above last year's highly touted, but underachieving one. Let's hope he says YEAH to the Cats!
I heard Maze will visit Tenn. on Wed. My guess is he'll cancel the trip to UK so its between UT & UC. Where have I heard that before?
