And Mick wonders why this team doesn't get any respect nationally??? They are 10-12 after this game and 5-5 in the conference. That's despite their "great" Big East performance this year.
You aren't great when you give St. John's their only win (easily) and lose to a team that can't win on the road. They are .500 in the conference and dropping fast.
Still a long way to go. Mick has to get a couple great shooters and I don't see them on the horizon yet.
Also need more consistent defensive coaching but I'm not sure Mick will ever get it done. He seems to always have letdowns.
Why can't Kennedy still be at UC? His teams at least made EFFORT in every game. This team has not even played hard here and they did the same at St. John's.
What the heck have Williamson and H done under the basket today?? Terrible effort and positioning.
This team hasn't even seemed interested today. Guess they don't want to make even the BACK of the NIT.
Can someone explain why Mike Cronin felt it necessary to announce how poorly UC practiced the night before the game. Even the TV announcers are talking about it. He's sending the message that his team is not ready to defeat Marquette. Somethings are better left unsaid. I believe UC carried that defeatus attitude into the game.
