Providence 63, UC 56 - 7:34 second half
If you like quality basketball you've come to the wrong place. UC hasn't made a field goal since the 13:00 mark, but still used free throws to get within one at the 9:07 mark. But then, trailing by two, UC's Rashad Bishop missed a reverse layup and Providence made it hurt when Jeff Xavier made a 3-pointer. After a Vaughn turnover, Brian McKenzie's layup gave the Friars a 7-point lead. If UC loses this game, that turn of events could be what did the Bearcts in. Before I could even finish this post, it' s now 65-56 after a McKenzie dunk. There's now 6:24 to go and UC is in deep trouble.

This is essentially what I and others have been saying most of the season. It's just an absolute wonder that this coach and team have 8 conference wins. The only explanation is a mixture of determination, opponents’ injuries and just dumb luck.
Of course, all the Mick lovers will tell us that it's the great coaching job.
Please, please don't!!
Opponents injuries? Louisville had Padgett and Palacios when we played them.
8 BEast wins with a team of JUCO players in the late signing period. Dixon from Pitt praised Mick for actually putting a team together in the late signing period. I would say that they are ahead of schedule and on their way to making a deep NCAA run next year.
Padgett was NOT at 100% for the Cincy game. Since he's has fully recovered, Louisville has been on a tear. Right now, he's the league MVP. Maybe not the best player in the league, but he means the most to his team. With him at 100%, there is no way UC wins at Louisville. Disappointing for all you Mick Lovers to hear that, but it's just the way it is. Louisville has a great coach and team and UC barely has either.
He played the entire game which is more than Mike Williams played.
If UL has such a great coach how do they lose to lowly UC at HOME??????? B
BTW they had ALL of their players, and Mick makes excuses???????
Suckin' Sean Miller
Wow, Padgett not 100%, palacios, blah blah.
No way Padgett gets MVP over Hibbert.
I thought that people said Mick complained a lot and made excuses.
Suckin' Sean Miller Lite
