Canfield arrested

UC offensive lineman Trevor Canfield, from Western Hills High School, was arrested Sunday and charged with felonious assault. UC just put out a release about the arrest after an inquiry was made about it. Brian Kelly has suspended Canfield pending completion of the legal process. According to the release, he will have no further comment.
Canfield was a second-team all-Big East selection last year. He started all 13 of UC's games.

gotta use your head....I have a sense that Kelly won't be too patient with this kind of nonsense (if the allegations are proven)

Seems like he used somebody else's head. Just boys being boys on a west side Saturday night.

Yet another Cincinasti "student"-athlete has made the police blotter. So much for changing the criminal culture down there at Cincinasti College!

UC = UNLV East

...Or maybe not - UNLV has cleaned up its act, has a winning record, & will make the NCAA tourney this year.

Hey Mike, is that the only comment you can make? The reference to a 15 year old issue of UNLV gets old. You and Clarett should lay off of the Goose, then maybe you can come up with an original comment.

UC remains Thug U. It's a ghetto school with ghetto athletes.

Guess it wasn't Bob's fault after all that UC's reputation is in the crapper. Hear that Nancy?
