Cats are well-rested

Mick Cronin took advantage of the week between games by giving his players a break this week. They came in at 6 a.m. on Sunday to watch the loss to Marquette - OK, 6 a.m. on Sunday isn't much of a break - then did some shooting on Monday and took off Tuesday before returning to a full-scale practice on Wednesday to begin preparations for Saturday's game at Rutgers.

"We needed time off," Cronin said. "We needed to get away from each other a little bit. Anybody watching the Marquette game could see a team that was stale. It was very evident in many ways from watching the film and our practice that we needed that break, mentally more than anything. We’ve just got to make sure the time off doesn’t hurt us, that we don’t lose some of our edge and some of our sharpness. We need to make sure we get that game energy back and try to jump on Rutgers early."

UC = UNLV East

...Or maybe not - UNLV has cleaned up its act, has a winning record, & has made the NCAA tourney last year.

CSA, maybe you need to get on here and defend yourself from this idiotic, pinheaded imposter. This same moronic post is showing up on a number of threads. That, in itself, shows both the lack of intelligence and maturity of the imposter. As much as I would like anonymous to remain, this head case is a good reason for all of us to have our own little anonymous nicknames! - Your Buddy

I was just thinking today about how UC basketball was torpedoed into the ground. It actually couldn't have been done any better by the she devil.

There might be 18 people in the greater Cincinnati area that care about UC basketball now. It's sad.

WOW! HOW CLEVER! LMAO.
I guess if you can't tell the real Cheviot Sports Authority from this kid posting nonsense, you should click on cheviot sports authority, if you see a picture of the Mustard Man then you have the real thing. Anything else is an impostor. Even easier way to tell is: Cheviot Sports Authority is a registered user. If you don't see the "B" blogger loco then you know its not the real thing.

The fact that you think anyone cares is quite humerous...

Looking forward to today's game, feels like an eternity since they played. Also looking forward to tonight's Big East match up between UL and Georgetown. I love the Big East. I feel sorry for fans of team's who play most of their conference games in high school gyms. (the A-10). Must be a very boring regular season.

Let's just hope Adam H. has been practicing lay ups all week, if not the bearcats are in for a long night.
