New game time

Just got this from UC: if they can get in the air by 2 p.m. Saturday, they'll play UConn at 8 p.m. instead of the scheduled 4 p.m. game time. If they can't, they will move the game to Sunday at 6.

Another genius remark from Super Coach:

"To be honest with you, I'm proud that we're 8-9, but it's frustrating the way that we're playing because we're capable of playing 100 percent."

EVERYONE on the face of the earth is capable of playing 100 percent.

How'd we ever get so fortunate to get rid of winners like Huggins and Kennedy? And then steal this guy away from Murray State? Lucky us!

Ole Miss is 4-8 in their last 12 games in a lesser league. Andy is a great young coach, but to compare his situation to Mick's is absurd, he inherited a much stronger program - one that actually had players.

As I remember, the "Super Coach" beat the crap out of Huggins on their home court, and Kennedy's stellar 6-9 record in the weak division of a weak SEC is nothing to crow about. So despite your lame attempt at sarcasm, the irony is we are pretty fortunate to have him.

Anyone who speaks in the public forum can generally ripped to shreds for inanities and inconsistencies at some point. It is especially easy to find these same inanities and inconsistencies if you have an ax to grind. Even Brian Kelly, who obviously has a tremendous facility for public speaking, will be open to this kind of carping if fans become disenchanted with him.

I vote for Sunday at 6 PM.

Bill, please pass my vote to those who care.

Thanks.

Yeah, Super Coach beat Huggins on the worst night of shooting for a WV team in their history. In fact, they shot so poorly that they even shot worse than the UC sharpshooters. And that's saying something!

Huggins' team is going to postseason play, possibly the Big Dance. Whose house is Super Coach's team going to in order to watch Huggins' team in one of the tourneys?

Mikey, I'm getting far too many calls about our little BB problem."

"I'm trying my best, Nancy. I even told them that all the arrows are pointing in the right direction. But I don't think that they're falling for it."

"Well, Mikey we've got to get this stupid BB thing to work out. People might start to not like me if it doesn't."

"That might happen, Nancy. I'm trying really, really hard. It might have gone more smoothly though if you weren't trying to tick Huggins off a few years ago and made me hire that mid-major coach from Muddy State."

"You have a point there, Mikey. But I don't really care about sports, so it was really worth it to me. So will you just try a little harder to sell the fans on that BB thing?"

"Yes, maam. Anything you want Nancy, I'll do it. Hey guys, who are those arrows pointing at today?"
