Impact freshmen
None of UC's six freshmen have made the impact that Syracuse's Donte Greene (19.1 ppg) and Jonny Flynn (14.5) have made. But assuming that several of UC's current freshmen develop into quality players in a year or two, is it possible that the Bearcats are better off having this class grow up together so they can make some noise in the NCAA Tournament as juniors or seniors instead of being so good that they leave for the NBA after one year?

Post a Comment*I believe the best teams have a multitude of players who have learned the college game over a three of four year period with that one (or two for special cases) incredibly special one or two and done player that puts them over the top... like Syracuse with Carmelo Anthony a few years back...
Biggie may be the only NBA prospect on today's UC squad due to size alone. The other players may develop into a nice college team.
