Correction
You guys on the blog are right. I just checked again and UC will clinch a berth in the Big East Tournament with either a win tonight or a St. John's loss. I was given incorrect information yesterday when I researched my story and when I made that post on the blog. Sorry for the confusion.

I think you were right the first time. If UC and St Johns finish tied at 8-10, and ND ties with UL, then St Johns wins the tiebreaker with victories over ND and MARQ. Check out the tiebreaker rule.

Bearcat in Atl--- NO a St J loss gave them 11 tonight which clinches for UC which can be at worst 8-10 even if they lose out. I was correct in my original post this afternoon at 1:41 p.m. UC is in the BE Tourney!
