Today's scenario

Here's how I have it figured: If UC wins today, it will land the N0. 8 seed and will play No. 9 seed Villanova at noon Wednesday in the opening round of the Big East Tournament. If UC loses and Seton Hall beats Rutgers, the Bearcats would fall all the way to the No. 11 seed, in which case they would play No. 6 seed Marquette at 9 p.m. Wednesday. If UC loses and Seton Hall loses to Rutgers, the Bearcats would be the No. 10 seed and would play No. 7 seed Pitt (assuming the Panthers finish beating DePaul this afternoon) at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Here's how I have it figured: No matter what UC or anyone else does today, the season will likely end on Wednesday and we can close this sorry Chapter of UC BB. Then, we can focus on the bright spot these days in UC athletics: F-O-O-T-B-A-L-L

That's the ONLY thing that's kept us from becoming a Dance Team school!!

Yes, an 11th place finish, quite an accomplishment. I am satisfied with the improvement of this program. Aren't you? Now if next season's recruits are as good as this season's, perhaps with a little luck we can make the BE tourney two years in a row. Oh joy, everyone gets in next year, no need to worry.

Wrong again CSA, the 'Cats can finish no worse than 10th in the conference.

As Bill mentioned earlier, it is a sign of good progress that this team has finished at least 10th in one of the top conferences in the nation in year 2 of a massive rebuilding project. The 'Cats will be better next year and should contend for a NCAA tourney bid.

Yep, wrong again. Tenth place is quite an accomplishment. What did you think of the worst loss since 1914? or the six game losing streak to end the season?
